Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Leaptek LLC collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Effective:

The short version

We collect information needed to respond to inquiries, deliver and improve our services, secure our systems, and meet business and legal obligations. We do not sell personal information for money. We share information with service providers and business platforms only as reasonably needed for those purposes or when you direct us to do so.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

This may include your name, business name, email address, telephone number, mailing or business address, account credentials, project requirements, brand materials, content, uploaded files, support messages, feedback, website or Business Profile links and concerns submitted for a Growth Audit, and information submitted through forms.

Customer service and platform data

When we provide website, CRM, automation, or ecommerce services, we may process customer records, leads, communications, order or listing information, workflow data, website content, change requests, audit records, and related business information on your behalf.

Payment information

Payment processors may collect card or bank information directly. Leaptek generally receives transaction status, amount, billing contact details, and limited payment-method information rather than complete payment credentials.

Information collected automatically

Our sites and services may log IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, requested URLs, timestamps, approximate region, cookie identifiers, performance data, and interactions with our pages or applications.

Connected services

If you authorize access to a domain provider, CRM, marketplace, fulfillment platform, analytics service, calendar, advertising account, or other system, we may receive the data and permissions needed to provide the agreed service. The connected provider's own privacy terms also apply.

2. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, and communicate about projects;
  • Set up, host, maintain, support, personalize, and improve services;
  • Operate customer-authorized websites, workflows, CRM functions, and ecommerce work;
  • Process payments, maintain billing records, reconcile agreed fees, and prevent fraud;
  • Authenticate users, enforce permissions, monitor reliability, and protect security;
  • Measure site usage, diagnose errors, and improve customer experiences;
  • Send service notices and, where permitted, relevant marketing communications;
  • Comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements; and
  • Create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify an individual.

3. How we share information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors that support hosting, storage, databases, security, email, communications, analytics, payments, CRM functionality, AI processing, and professional services may process information for us under appropriate terms.
  • At your direction. We share information with business platforms, collaborators, team members, or other recipients you authorize.
  • Legal and safety needs. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or secure our services.
  • Business changes. Information may transfer as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable requirements.

4. AI-assisted services

Leaptek may use artificial intelligence services to help draft content, analyze project requests, propose website changes, generate or edit creative assets, or support internal operations. Prompts, relevant customer content, and generated output may be sent to our contracted providers when needed to perform the requested task.

Do not include sensitive personal information in an AI change request unless it is necessary and you are authorized to provide it. Material automated changes are intended to be validated and previewed before publication where the service supports that workflow.

5. Cookies, analytics, and communications

We may use essential cookies and similar storage to keep sessions secure, remember settings, and operate application features. We may also use analytics or measurement technologies to understand traffic and improve services. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but disabling essential storage may prevent parts of a site or customer portal from working.

You may opt out of Leaptek marketing email using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting us. Service, transaction, security, and account communications are not marketing messages and may still be sent when necessary.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain records, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our systems. Retention periods vary by information type, contractual requirements, and whether an account or service remains active.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and relationship with Leaptek, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or additional information about certain personal data. You may also object to or withdraw consent for some processing. These rights can be subject to exceptions, identity verification, and our obligations to the customer organization that controls the data.

If Leaptek processes your information for one of our customers—for example, through that customer's website or CRM—please contact that business first. We will assist our customer with verified requests as required.

8. Children, external services, and changes

Leaptek's website and business services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through this site. Customer websites and connected services may link to or use third-party platforms whose privacy practices Leaptek does not control.

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
